The French actor and mime artist Marcel Marceau was a household name in his own day. The French actor Marceau passed away on September 22, 2007, at the age of 84, in a retirement home in Cahors. His funeral featured the second movement of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21 (which he often utilized to accompany his sophisticated mime performances).
Marceau was laid to rest in Paris, in the Père Lachaise Cemetery. Marcel Marceau’s cause of dea†h is still a mystery as of yet.
Alexander Neander, a former student and personal assistant said:
“He di*d in the southwestern French town of Cahors, where he had moved after retiring from the stage in 2005”.
Many of Marcel Marceau’s fans paid tribute to him after his Dea†h. Tittiscotti one of his fans said, “No art is superior to another one, but every art looks for expertise and perfection”.
