Malcolm X’s daughter has said that she will sue the city of New York and other entities over her father’s assassination in 1965 for violating his civil rights. U.S. authorities conspired to and accomplished their plan to assassinate her father, but they falsely hid the evidence, according to Ilyasah Shabazz.

On February 21, 1965, 58 years ago, she made the announcement of the lawsuit near the spot in New York where he was sh*t and kill*d. A lawyer indicated that the FBI and CIA were also implicated in the lawsuit. Mrs. Shabazz, now 60, was only two years old when she saw the sh*oting death of her father.

As he was about to give a speech in a Harlem auditorium, three assailants opened fire, striking him 21 times. At the location, which has been turned into a memorial, she said, “For years, our family has struggled for the truth to come to light concerning his murd*r”.

On Tuesday, Feb 21, 2023, she filed notifications of claims, and this is the first step in filing a lawsuit.

At the press conference, the family’s attorney, Benjamin Crump claimed that high-ranking government officials in the United States had plotted Malcolm X’s assassination. Throughout his talk, he made references to J. Edgar Hoover, the former director of the FBI.

According to Mr. Crump, the family of Malcolm X plans to sue for wrongful death and is aiming for damages of around $100 million (£83 million). It’s not just about the gunmen, he said. “It’s about the people who plotted with the gunmen to carry out this heinous crime.”

According to the reports aforementioned, the NYPD refused to discuss ongoing lawsuits. Neither the FBI nor the CIA responded right away to requests for comment.

But Families of the individuals wrongfully executed filed a lawsuit and were awarded $26 million from New York City and $10 million from the state of New York.

Before his bitter break with the group, Malcolm X was a prominent spokesperson for the Nation of Islam, which promoted black American separatism. When he died, he was 39 years old. A man who identifies as a member of the Nation of Islam admitted to the murd*r.

After an investigation by New York’s attorney general revealed that prosecutors had hidden evidence that would have likely vindicated the two men, they were eventually exonerated of all charges.
