On Wednesday’s 15 March, episode of “The Masked Singer,” two new celebrity-disguised contestants faced off against the returning champion Squirrel for “Sesame Street Night.” Jackalope deposed the monarchy during a performance of “Whenever, Anywhere” by Shakira, but was ultimately defeated by Fairy in the final showdown.
The anteater took off her disguise to unveil internet sensation, Lele Pons. Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke were the only panelists to correctly identify the famous YouTuber, while Ken Jeong and Jenny McCarthy were wrong.
“We presented the Teen Choice Awards together!” exclaimed host Nick Cannon when Lele slipped her mask off. “I’ve been doing a Shakira impression,” she admitted. I’ve been honing my skills ever since I was a youngster.
She said she wanted to try something different by participating in “The Masked Singer,” and that was the deciding factor. Avoiding a rehash is important to me. This is where I am right now, and I have no idea where I will be tomorrow. This change has brought me here, and I couldn’t be more appreciative.
All four panelists, Lele Pons (Robin), Jenna Ortega (Jenny), Selena Gomez (Ken), and Lele Pons (Nicole), presented their final predictions as to who they felt was hiding inside Squirrel before Lele’s announcement (Nicole).
Jackalope said in her clue package, I’m very happy to walk into the ring on ‘Sesame Street Night,’ since I also adore entertaining audiences of all ages. You might not expect this of someone with my clout, but I’m actually an introvert. When I was young, I found it difficult to express myself verbally; therefore, I turned to music and dance.
These Jackalopes don’t lie, so pretty soon people all around the world started connecting with me and my work. Sharing personal struggles online with a potential audience of millions may seem foolish, yet I find that baring my soul strengthens me.
Take a look at these other interesting details we have covered about The Masked Singer:
I have built a new kind of nuclear family out of social misfits and we have revolutionized a whole sector. My particular brand of fame isn’t without its share of trolls, but I’ve developed a thick skin.
My rivals had better look out on Wednesdays since that’s when this bunny’s dance really stands out. Vines, a cell phone, a red heart necklace with a “G” on it, and a still from “Scream” featuring Ghostface all served as visual clues.
On Season 9 of “The Masked Singer,” Jackalope was the eighth and final performer to be voted off. Her predecessors in the elimination round were Malin Akerman as Wolf, Grandmaster Flash as Polar Bear, Michael Bolton as She-Wolf, Debbie Gibson as Night Owl, Michael Bolton as Wolf and Dick Van Dyke as Gnome.
