Minivan Crashes into Broad Street Philadelphia

On 14 March morning, a guy drove his minivan into the main entrance of the Philadelphia Police Department headquarters. The incident on Broad Street occurred at around 4:45 a.m. A car slammed into the building’s facade but luckily avoided the lobby area.

As the crash occurred, the Action Cam was nearby to record the aftermath. The man driving the minivan screamed, “They’re killing me, they’re killing me,” as police officers hauled him from the vehicle.

After being taken up for interrogation, he was spotted getting into a patrol car and leaving police headquarters. The suspect told Action News reporter Corey Davis that the police were the ones killing him.

Check out this below tweet by Corey Davis about the minivan crash:

One of the local hospitals received the man. Police quickly evacuated the premises and sealed off the lobby.

Over four hours passed as the minivan sat on the curbside, awaiting the arrival of the tow truck and the completion of the investigation. It was unclear whether or not criminal charges would be brought over the crash or whether they were even deliberate. There were no reported injuries.
