Paola Camin, Gina’s agent, told KTRE that the actress died in Rome on January 16, 2023. Gina passed away at a medical facility, as reported by La Presse (via Variety) of Italy.
We only know that Gina suffered a fall and fractured her thigh in September of 2022 and that she had surgery to fix it. She supposedly went back to her house and started walking and doing other things again.

It’s safe to say that Gina Lollobrigida was a one-and-done kind of star, having excelled in both the arts and the entertainment industry. Beat the Devil, starring Humphrey Bogart and Jennifer Jones, was Gina’s debut American film and became a box office hit upon its release in 1953.
