Part 2 of Jonathan Moore/Joe Goldberg’s story has been added to Netflix, marking the end of season 4 of You. If you want to know about the conclusion of You Season 4 and what happened in this series you can read this post.
Episodes 9-13, which premiered on Netflix on March 9th, take viewers on a wild ride. The most important finding is that Joe Goldberg created Rhys Montrose as a character.
Well, not quite; the author does exist; however, he or she is not the Eat the Rich Killer and he or she has never had a proper 1-on-1 interaction with Joe contrary to what we are led to believe in the premiere of Season 4.
What Happens to Marienne in the Final Episode of You Season 4?
Fans of the fourth season of You were shocked to read that Joe had actually trapped Marienne in his glass cage in London. Since he followed her to Paris, he’s been holding her hostage. Nadia eventually found Marienne, and the two of them worked out a plan to free her.
Nadia gave Marienne beta blockers so that she would appear to have committed suicide by overdose and she also left Joe a fake suicide note in the cage. Joe assumed she was dead and then moved her body to a park to make it look like she had overdosed on drugs.
To revive Marienne, Nadia had been hiding behind a nearby tree, ready to give her an adrenaline shot. In the final episode, Marienne and her daughter Julliette are reunited and appear to live happily ever after in Paris.

What did Nadia do at the end of You Season 4 Part 2?
Nadia wanted to investigate Joe’s dark past and prove he was responsible for the rest of the Each The Rich murders after she saw what he was doing to Marienne. Nadia and her boyfriend Edward went undercover to Joe’s London apartment so that she could photograph any evidence she could use to present to the police.
Nadia walked out of Edward’s house and into Joe’s path who was standing in the street. Edward was nowhere to be found. With Edward’s body on the floor, he takes her phone, deletes the evidence and pushes her down. Joe orders her to “give me your hand” and then plunges a knife into it.
“Nadia. There’s no way anyone will believe you if you tell them about me “Joe makes a threat before revealing that he blamed her boyfriend Edward for the death of Rhys (the motive? Before blaming her for Edward’s death, we can’t be certain.
“Nadia. Tell them all about me and no one’s going to believe you,” Joe threatens her, before explaining he had pinned Rhys’ murder on her boyfriend Edward (the motive? We’re not sure), before pinning Edward’s murder on her.
There’s gonna be a box found in your bedroom by the police. Rhy Montrose’s things. Anonymous tipster. They’ll realize it was Eddie. That’s why you killed him. You have so many gifts. I’m looking forward to watching what you do next.
The voiceover then reveals that Nadia did not defend herself and was currently incarcerated, as stated by Joe.

Where is Joe Goldberg at the end of You Season 4 Part 2?
In the final episode of You, Joe kills Kate’s father in his airport hangar as vengeance for the power he still has over Kate’s life. When Joe realizes he hates himself, he and Rhys whom we now know is a figment of his imagination go to a bridge, where Joe throws his phone off the side and then attempts suicide by jumping.
There is no sign of Rhys when Joe comes to a hospital bed. Is he finally able to pull himself away from his darkest thoughts if this is the case? Possibly not. After that, Kate comes to be with him in bed.
“First off. Mr. Goldberg, I’m Joe,” Joe tells her everything about his troubled past, presumably before the screen goes black. We next find Kate and Joe, who appears to be living happily and successfully while managing her father’s business in a lavish New York City apartment where they are being interviewed for a glossy magazine profile about their Art Foundation.
Turns out, you can come home again, Joe says as the voiceover concludes. With just Kate, some cyber experts, some public relations operatives, and Cynthia, you’ll be all set. You can manipulate search engine results, break into news archives and bribe the Madre Linda police chief to back up the straightforward truth of Joe Goldberg’s story.
Surprise! There was never any redemption for Joe Goldberg and he retains his sinister air.
