As of late, Dawn French has been wowing admirers by going back to her distinctive hairdo, a sleek bob. On Tuesday night, at the West End opening of Oklahoma!, the 65-year-old star of “The Vicar of Dibley” posed for photos on the red carpet, highlighting her beautiful short hair.
Throughout her career, French & Saunders actress Dawn has been recognized for her chic hairstyle, which she proudly displayed in the photo shoot. This time around, though, she ditched the dark raven color and embraced her natural silver locks, so the only noticeable difference was in her hair.
Dawn took advantage of the photo op to flaunt her recent weight loss. Since she made the decision to modify her lifestyle in 2011, the comedian has been extremely transparent about her weight loss journey.
She dropped seven and a half stone after making some significant lifestyle adjustments. She revealed that she decided to slim down after a cancer scare in 2014, and she explained why.

By making some significant changes to her routine, she was able to shed seven and a half stone. She explained that she made the decision to slim down after a cancer scare in 2014.
The surgeons gave the comic a stern warning that she needed to reduce weight before the procedure could be performed. The star of Absolutely Fabulous started walking regularly and keeping track of her calorie intake shortly after.
“I eventually went to the hospital, and my dr was so convinced I had uterine cancer, that he ordered a second biopsy to make sure,” she said in 2014. Otherwise, major open surgery would be necessary, and the recovery time would be three months. Hence, I decided to start stone-cold sober.
“Even before the result of the second one, I decided to be done with my old enemy, my defunct reproductive stuff. It was curtailing my life.”
She added: “So, my womb and I parted company. Goodbye. When I was due to have my hysterectomy, the doc told me that if I could lose some weight before the op, they would be able to do it via ‘key-hole’, and I would recover in three weeks or so.
