A female student from New Britain, Connecticut’s Central Connecticut State University was found unresponsive on Sunday and did not regain consciousness.
According to the school president, a pupil from James Hall was discovered unresponsive at around 10 a.m. University of California, Santa Cruz police arrived and began CPR before the woman could be taken to the hospital. Officials at the institution said that she had passed away.
The school recognized her as Saradina Redman, a Burlington native who is 21 years old. Redman, who went by the name Sara, was a senior majoring in biomolecular science.
The Department of Biomolecular Sciences expressed their “pride to have had Sara as a major” and their “certainty that she would have contributed meaningfully to the field and a successful career.”

Chairwoman Kathy Martin expressed how much everyone would miss having Sara in the classroom and the lab. Redman’s death remains mysterious. This inquiry is still in progress.
“Your prayers and kind words have meant a lot. Please keep the Redman family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time,” President Zulma Toro said.
The school is holding meetings with the student’s friends and roommates to provide them with counseling and assistance. On Friday, March 3rd at 10 a.m., there will be a moment of quiet. The school has promised to memorialize Redman by ringing the bells in the clock tower.
