Linebacker Ryan Keeler of UNLV passed away at the age of 20 unexpectedly on Monday(Feb,20,2023). The Clark County, Nevada, coroner’s office reports that they are waiting on toxicology results to determine the cause of Keeler’s death, and the Las Vegas Police Department has opened an investigation into his death.

Keeler moved to UNLV before the 2022 season and played in seven games recording eight tackles. On October 15th versus Air Force, he recorded a sack. Odom replaced Marcus Arroyo as head coach of the Rebels in December of 2022.
The former Rutgers student is a native of Chicago. It was with the Scarlet Knights that he played his first year of college football. Based on his performance in high school, Rivals ranked Keeler as the No. 13 prospect in Illinois and the No. 33 strongside defensive end in the class of 2021.
