Imagine yourself wading in tranquil, sapphire-colored water. Remember how JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean finishes to dispel that fantasy. Stone Ocean doesn’t have a formulaic conclusion as other JJBA segments do. It’s bittersweet because, ultimately, everyone loses.
At least in my opinion, the audience doesn’t, and it feels awful. If you’re a fan who didn’t know what to anticipate from the conclusion of Stone Ocean, you could be experiencing some shock right now.
In no way do I blame you! Whatever the case, I’m here to help you through JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean climax and answer any questions. (Another side note: Steel Ball Run, the upcoming installment, will be a wild journey.)
JoJo Stone Ocean Ending Explained
It’s hardly the normal JJBA conclusion where at least our main Character makes it out alive. Because of Jolyne’s (Kira Buckland) selfless act, poor Emporio (Casey Mongillo) is the only survivor.
After the initial world reset, Emporio finds himself back in prison where he learns that Pucci (played by Yong Yup) has tracked him down and is out to kill him. At first glance, things seem hopeless, but Emporio kept the Stand CD from Weather Report (Netflix localization: Weather Forecast) like a smart cookie, unbeknownst to Pucci.

As they find themselves in Emporio’s ghost chamber, Emporio turns the tables on Pucci. He wants the priest to put the Stand disc in his body like a machine. Pucci is not having a good day today. His reward comes as retaliation via his twin brother’s Stand.
As Pucci is brutally killed (justly, given everything he did), Emporio is thrown into a new universe that has been completely reset. The brave and kind Emporio is now in the middle of nowhere because of this reset, but he soon joins his pals in the alternate universe (except Jotaro, who he saw die horribly).

But, as they are unfamiliar with Emporio, the reunion is not altogether happy. The people Emporio knew didn’t transfer over since they passed away before Pucci’s Stand reset their universe. Jolyne (now Irene) is still a Joestar, despite the fact that they have changed into new people with new identities and lives.
As the crew travels down the road, the final track of Stone Ocean features the classic “Roundabout” by Yes.
