Da Brat can’t wait to show off her baby bump. The wife of the famous “Funkdafied” rapper, Jesseca Judy Harris-Dupart, is pregnant with the couple’s first child. On Tuesday (February 21, 2023), she revealed her growing baby bump in an Instagram post.
She posted a photo of herself holding her stomach in a fetal position while wearing an unbuttoned Chicago Bulls jacket, red sweatpants, and matching sneakers with the caption, “BLESSINGS all 2023.”

As per the reports of People, Da Brat says, “There’s a lot of stuff we learned about women over the age of 40.” They said “I do” on February 2 last year, which was the first step on their journey to becoming parents. Da Brat explains that the couple’s catchy slogan, “We’re extending our family!” was initially intended as a joke.
Then, however, we received an overwhelming amount of feedback. They thought, “Oh my God, do we want to have kids? If we do, girl, we better hurry up!” Before they got together, Harris-Dupart already had three children.
Da Brat never really planned on having any children. She says:
I just didn’t think it would happen to me. That’s right, I’ve lived a full life and had a successful career. I assumed that since I had not conceived earlier in life, it was never going to happen.

What Health Problems Did the Couple Face During Da Brat’s Pregnancy?
When Da Brat met Harris-Dupart, she fell in love with him. Still, she was not enthusiastic about the prospect of becoming a mother. Harris-Dupart had severe health problems after her egg retrieval procedure, and the decision to have Da Brat carry the baby was the best option.
However, before her embryo transfer procedure, the rapper had to undergo surgery to remove fibroids and polyps from her uterus. Later, a tragic miscarriage occurred.
Da Brat says, “Fortunately, we still had quite a few of her eggs left.” A “keen entrepreneur” anonymously chosen by the couple from their cryobank is now 18 weeks pregnant.
Da Brat is firmly in the second trimester of her pregnancy, and she says, To put it simply, it’s a boon. What a thrill! In addition, she is worn out.
She continues, “I don’t have any cravings or nausea, but I’m always sleepy.” Again, Da Brat is surprised by something about pregnancy: “I’m easily moved to tears. I’ll cry if anyone ever wins American Idol. I mean, come on, I can take it!”
“I think people are going to be shocked,” she laughs, thinking about her tough persona in hip-hop combined with her happy news and bump reveal. However, she embraced the contrast by having a gangster-themed pregnancy photoshoot. It was fantastic, she says. Harris-Dupart says of her wife’s legendary hair as inspiration for the line,
“I felt like she always supports me on everything I do, so I wanted to do something with her.”
The line features moisturizing rinses, gels, sprays, and mousses. She has been wearing protective hairstyles for so long that I dub her “the queen of protective styles.”
