The rumors are true: Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma are engaged!
“We said YES!” the “Pitch Perfect” star gushed in her Instagram caption announcing the exciting news on Sunday.
“Thank you @tiffanyandco for the stunning ring and to Bob Iger and the incredible team at Disneyland @disneyweddings for pulling off this magical surprise!”
Wilson also posted many photos from the tender moment to her Instagram Story. The actress was seen both before and after the proposal at Disneyland, with one image showing her holding the box containing the engagement diamond.
Agruma reposted several of the images in her own Stories. But, Wilson took to Instagram Stories in November to dispel rumors that she and Agruma were already engaged. She did not provide any other specifics about when the proposal took place.
“Thanks for the well wishes but we are NOT engaged!,” she wrote at the time.
Wilson recently revealed that despite the wonderful news, her prospective husband’s family hasn’t been very “accepting” of the couple’s relationship.
“My whole family has just been amazing, [but] Ramona’s family hasn’t been as accepting.” she said on the “Life Uncut” podcast last week.
“And so in many respects, it has been a lot harder on her to have to make the news public.”
“It’s so sad to see what happened with her family over it. Hopefully, people will change their attitude about things,” she said.
In June 2022, the “Bridesmaids” star publicly acknowledged her s*xual orientation and also revealed that she was dating Agruma.

A Disney Prince was what I was looking for, or so I thought. she commented at the time on Instagram, “but maybe what I truly needed all this time was a Disney Princess.”
After making their romance public, the engaged couple didn’t hesitate to show PDA and jet set throughout the world. In November of 2016, Wilson became a mother, marking another milestone in their lives. Royce, the actress’ first child, was born via surrogate.
“Beyond proud to announce the birth of my first child, Royce Lillian, born this past week via surrogate I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle,” the “How to Be Single” star wrote in a post announcing the news.
Wilson also noted that she will be “forever grateful” to everyone involved in helping her become a mother, and thanked her “gorgeous surrogate who carried [Royce] and birthed her with such grace and care.”
