You all are aware of the Lesley Goldberg and Daniel Fienberg podcast, where they welcomed showrunners, executives, and other tv personalities to get breaking news regarding their upcoming shows. With this conversation, we can get an idea of what has to watch, and what can be skipped.
This time they invite You (Who is Tilly Keeper) showrunner Sera Gramble to talk about their streaming drama “You” season 4. Here we get something exclusive about the streaming season and the next season. As we discussed in our previous post You season 4 is aired in two parts and the first part is aired on 9th February 2023. The second part will be aired in March. Here we described everything about the Netflix drama, and what Gamble said.
When She asked about the reason behind the You season 4 aired in two parts, “Netflix approached us. The structure split cleanly down the center of the season because [exec producer] Greg Berlanti and I have written so many midseason cliffhangers for old school [broadcast] television.”
She also said the first part will conclude a murder mystery which is a whodunit for the creative team. This is the only way to keep the conversation on if Joe knows everything.
What You showrunner Sera Gramble Announced About You Season 5?
She said that they are very excited about the fifth installment of the show”You” (You Season 4 Part 2), as the cast also keeps connected. Nobody wants to leave the show in mid.
And “We have an idea for season five that we’re excited about. It was never anyone’s intention to run this one into the ground. When we’re done, we’ll be done. And we’ll pack it up. Even in the early conversations with Penn, the idea was not to crank out episodes forever; it’s to feel like we have told the complete story. And though I feel like tonally, we’re very different and we are not trying to sell Joe as any kind of a hero with a straight face. This is a show that is in the tradition of these single-lead shows with a guy who does increasingly bad things. The beautiful thing about it is that when his arc is complete, so is the show.”

She said that they always shoot new locations because their show is not dependent on money, it is a big-budget show, “a basic cable outlet.” Where there is a production-related change, they use all kinds of precautions while the COVID-19 era. At the end of this season, the audience gets their next plan. As they finished last season in Paris, so it was their plan.
They always raked about the theme and what ideas they get from their team, and they chose the location according to the people’s expectations. She said, “we didn’t make the season to make fun of Americans; we did this to make fun of an American named Joe Goldberg. (The Famous Serial Killer of You Season 4)”
Does Joe Changed Ever Or does The Series End with Joe’s Death?
Sera Gramble told that Joe may be changed but not sure now about that. This is the primer theme of the show season four “Can he be redeemed?” Joe joins the author after the first episode events. She brings in difficult conditions and struggles to come out of them and become a better person.
Sera Gamble shares his experience gained at the podcast TV’s Top5 on his Twitter:
It’s always fun to go on a podcast and discover you’re talking to a big #Supernatural fan. We cover the new season of #YouNetflix, lots about SPN and how #TheMagicians was created partly in reaction to it, and also just have a general genre love-inhttps://t.co/4snQ7xIm54

They try to make You like the #MeToo movement. Every time the showrunner thinks about how to redeem the Joe character. “I feel like I just watched the whole wave of that movement as we’ve been making the show about this guy,” Sera said.
Although this is a spoiler question, Sera talked about Joe’s end with their writers and Greg. It will be a big challenge because a personality like Joe’s never gets justice from the people. “The deeper question that we frequently pitch in the writers’ room is, what’s real justice? What would hurt him the most?” Sera said. The end of Joe is not easy for the plot of the You series. You can visit The Hollywood Reporter’s Twitter to know other information about the podcast:
