The actress from “Glass Onion” recently opened up about her 7-year marriage to the musician with whom she shares a 19-year-old son named Ryder Robinson. Kate, now 43 remembered telling the Black Crowes musician then 56, that she would marry him after meeting him in New York and the couple eventually wed in December 2000.

“I was 21 when we got married,” she explained on The World’s First Podcast in a Feb. 9 podcast episode. She said:
“I just jump into the deep end of everything I do. People thought it was impulsive, but I was just like, ‘You know what? I’m just going to dive right into this. I’m not gonna second guess it. I’m in love with him. I’m not gonna pretend like, ‘Oh, we should wait.’ I’m madly in love, and I want to marry him, and so I just didn’t think twice.”
Have her methods evolved in the twenty years since then? I’m kind of still like that, Kate told hosts Erin and Sara Foster only with a little more wisdom under my belt. Kate, who has two children Bingham (11) with her ex-husband Matt Bellamy and Rani (four) with her fiance Danny Fujikawa has no regrets about her time spent with Chris.
She said in the podcast that they worshipped each other and were very in love before they divorced in 2007. She said, He also taught me what it felt like to be unconditionally loved which was a pivotal moment in her life. Chris was the one who really let the floodgates open for me in this regard.
