When Sarah Huckabee Sanders discovered she had thyroid cancer, she immediately scheduled surgery to remove her thyroid and the lymph nodes in the area. On September 16, 2022, she shared the good news that the procedure went well and you can see her post.

Former White House press secretary and current Republican candidate for governor of Arkansas claims she has beat cancer. Sanders said in a statement

I am grateful to the excellent medical staff in Arkansas to my family and friends and to God for his healing hand. I look forward to getting back out on the campaign trail soon. Do not give up hope no matter how difficult the challenge you are facing may be. I hope that my story will serve as an inspiration to you. No matter what, as governor of this great state, I will never stop working for the benefit of its citizens.

As per the reports of Cnn.com, Sanders’s doctor, John Sims released a statement saying that she is doing well after surgery to remove her thyroid gland and some lymph nodes in her neck. Papillary thyroid carcinoma, the most common form of thyroid cancer is curable in its early stages, he said.

She will need radioactive iodine as an adjuvant treatment and long-term follow-up, but I think it’s fair to say she’s now cancer-free, Sims said.

Surgery alone is usually successful in curing patients with thyroid cancer. The American Cancer Society reports that the five-year survival rate for patients with localized thyroid cancer is nearly one hundred percent when the cancer is found only in the thyroid.

The five-year survival rate is 99 percent if cancer has spread to regional lymph nodes, as in Sanders’s case. But now she is totally fine and living a joyful life. Keep visiting our site venturejolt.com for the most recent updates on the lives of other celebrities.
