Trailer number one for “Murder Mystery 2,” featuring the return of Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, has been released on Netflix. In “Murder Mystery 2,” Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler reprise their roles as private investigators Audrey and Nick Spitz, who find themselves in the heart of an international kidnapping after their friend the Maharaja is abducted from his wedding.
In the new 2019 “Murder Mystery” film, the protagonists, the Spitzes, take a romantic trip to Europe to rekindle their relationship. However, everything went wrong when the police officer and his wife were falsely accused of killing a wealthy businessman, resulting in a thrilling whodunit mystery. Over 30 million accounts streamed the original film in the first three days. At the year’s end, it was Netflix’s most-watched original content offering, with “Stranger Things 3” coming in second.
The cast of “Murder Mystery 2” comprises Mark Strong, Mélanie Laurent, Jodie Turner-Smith, Kuhoo Verma, Enrique Arce, Tony Goldwyn, Annie Mumolo, and Zurin Villanueva, in addition to returning cast members Adeel Akhtar (Maharajah) and John Kani (Colonel Ulenga).

Jeremy Garelick directed “Murder Mystery 2,” which was scripted by James Vanderbilt and revised by Garelick. Garelick has directed several movies, including “The Wedding Ringer” (2015), “The Binge” (2020), and “Best Worst Weekend Ever” (2018). Author of such films as “Truth” (2015), “White House Down” (2013), “Scream V” (2022), and “Scream VI” (2019), to name a few, Vanderbilt has also written screenplays (2023).
Together with Tripp Vinson (Vinson Films), James Stern (Endgame Entertainment), and Vanderbilt, Sandler and Aniston produced the film under their respective brands, Happy Madison Productions and Echo Films. The executive producers included Barry Bernardi, Kevin Grady, Kyle Newacheck, Tim Herlihy, Beau Flynn, Julie Goldstein, and Lucas Smith.
