YouTube Channel Dedicated to Taylor Swift. On Thursday night, Taylor Swift released the third music video for “Lavender Haze,” the lead tune off her most recent album “Midnights.”The singer announced the release on Thursday via Instagram, urging followers to “meet her at midnight” as the song’s opening lines suggest they should.

Swift wakes up around midnight in the first scene of the video she wrote and directed herself. When the word “Mastermind” appears on the screen, the camera moves to that area. As she sits up in the middle of the night, she notices that a man (Laith Ashley De La Cruz) had fallen asleep next to her. And you don’t truly read into my melancholy” is written on a cloud over her head.

Swift sketches the stars on the man’s bare back before jumping out of bed and dancing wildly in the smoke. She makes a clock-shaped smoke ring at one point. Swift is shown both alone in her home, watching koi fish swim in a cosmic sky reminiscent of outer space, and swimming with the same man in a pool of purple water at a party. In some parts, she had to crawl across a carpet of wildflowers. Fans have linked the guitar Swift played on the “Speak Now” tour to the scene in the video where she sleeps in a cloud surrounded by flying koi fish.

Swift also dropped the “Anti-Hero” music video on the same night as the “Midnights” album. Numerous versions of the singer act out their many self-doubts in the video, lecturing and belittling the original. Swift stands on a scale that reads “Fat” in a scenario that draws attention to her history of body image issues and possible eating disorders. This segment was criticized for its alleged fatphobia by a number of viewers.

Then came the “Bejeweled” music video, which included Taylor’s frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff as well as Oscar winner Laura Dern, all three members of HAIM, and Taylor herself. Swift’s close friends are the sisters Haim. Fans were kept on their toes by the “Bejeweled” music video’s cryptic easter egg references, which included the color purple and instrumental renditions of “Enchanted” and “Long Live” that bookended the clip. Swift’s “Speak Now” album includes both of those tracks.

There will be 52 stops at major stadiums around the United States on the “Eras” tour, which begins on March 17 in Arizona and was announced in November 2022.
