For the Kansas City Chiefs, backup quarterback Chad Henne stole the show on Saturday when he replaced Patrick Mahomes. The 37-year-old stepped up following Mahomes’ injury and led his team to a victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC divisional round.
Henne only played for a little while, but his touchdown pass was the game-winner that sent Kansas City to the next round. The confidence of the Chiefs’ starters will be bolstered by the play of their backup quarterback, who is contributing to the team’s success. In 2008, Henne debuted in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins. He later moved on to the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012. Since the 2018 season, he’s been a member of the Chiefs and he helped them win the Super Bowl in 2020.
The quarterback has made around $40 million in pay over his playing career. Henne received a $2 million one-year contract deal from the Chiefs this offseason. You can check out Chad Henne in below section.
