Netflix and Eric Garcia the author of Matchstick Men took a risk on the heist drama Kaleidoscope. You will read details about Kaleidoscope Season 2 below. The miniseries which was inspired by the true story of $70 billion of bonds being flooded in a basement in downtown Manhattan during Hurricane Sandy in 2012, made the hands-off convenience of binge-watching more complicated by encouraging viewers to watch the episodes in any order they desired, giving them a chance to see the same story through different lenses, like looking through a kaleidoscope season 2.
People may have been put off by the fact that they had to manually arrange the episodes in their preferred sequence or they may have decided not to bother because they believed that they would have to watch every episode in every possible order in order to have a complete picture of the plot.

Netflix lucked out when curiosity proved victorious. Audiences were riveted by the story of Ray Vernon/Leo Pap (Giancarlo Esposito), a master thief and terrible father who hatches a complex plan to steal $7 billion in bonds belonging to a criminal organization known as “The Triplets” from the vault of Roger Salas (Rufus Sewell), a former friend whom he holds responsible for his wife’s death.
Despite the fact that he assembles a team of criminals with specific abilities essential to pull off each component of the heist—a standard trope of all heists—the heist itself is, arguably, the least engaging portion of the series. Instead of a straight journey towards the multi-billion dollar caper, the episodes focus more on the characteristics of each character in the heist squad and their relationships with one another.
The theft itself occurs in the very last episode of the Netflix canonical run, and the story’s epilogue serves as a tidy conclusion to everyone’s arcs before then. Despite the lack of excitement a second season of this show could explore even more expansive territory.
