convicted because he shot Megan Thee Stallion in 2020.  “I ended up moving downtown with these three dudes I didn’t know. I came into the house and I didn’t realize how things worked. From like fifteen to eighteen, I was fighting them. It was every man for himself. That made me a man, having to fend for myself and being in a situation with no dad, no grandma, and no mom to help me. It changed the person that I am today”, he says.

What Charges Faced Tory Lanez?

Tory was caught with a weapon in 2020 by the police, while Megan was also found injured in another state. But he not accepted anything about her as she was active on her Instagram while recovering from an injury she stated that Tory shot her. Magen again claimed him; Tory was again arrested for violating.

He was sentenced to 22 years and eight months because he was not guilty of the assault. He shot her feet when they left a Hollywood party in 2020 at Kylie Jenner’s residence. His next hearing is set for 27 January 2023.

“I want to start by highlighting the bravery of Megan Pete,” Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon said in a statement.

“You showed incredible courage and vulnerability with your testimony despite repeated and grotesque attacks that you did not deserve. You faced unjust and despicable scrutiny that no woman should ever face and have inspired others across LA County and the nation.”

He added: “Women, especially Black women, are afraid to report crimes like assault and sexual violence because they are too often not believed. This trial, for the second time this month, highlighted the numerous ways our society must do better for women.”

The attorney continued: “I’d also like to thank the jurors for their time and thoughtful deliberation and our trial team for their tireless pursuit of the truth. You spent countless hours away from your families during the holiday season preparing this case and finding justice for Ms. Pete. Your sacrifice is appreciated.”
