LoL Season 13: What are the Latest Updates on it?

Lol Season 13

Lol Season 13

Your wait is over finally Lol Season 13 is coming. As we strive to climb as high as we can in the League of Legends rankings, we face new challenges with the start of each new season. Although Riot will be making significant changes to the ranked system this year, the season’s start date will remain the same. Now that we know when the League of Legends patches will go live in 2023, we can look into when Season 13 will begin. Since the end of the last season, I think we can all agree that we’ve been itching to play some ranked games.

League of Legends 2023 preseason has officially begun. In the wake of the conclusion of LoL’s ranked mode, Riot Games is gearing up for the start of season 13 of League of Legends on January 1. New champions, items and more are being tested, making this an exciting time for League of Legends players. Learn the ins and outs of season 13 of League of Legends right here.

What is the Release Date of Lol Season 13?

On January 11, 2023, we’ll see the release of the first update of the year. We also know that around that time there will be a major two-day event commemorating the beginning of a new season of League of Legends. This year’s ranked season will begin on Friday, January 13, 2023, two days after the release of League of Legends Patch 13.1. This is consistent with previous years when the season began a day or two after the first patch was released.

What’s New in Lol Season 13?

The jungle in League of Legends is undergoing significant changes for the upcoming season. It has been tried and tested in the 2023 offseason that the jungle will have a companion to aid them. That isn’t all though. Improvements to the client’s usability include champion select anonymity and rune suggestions when making a champion choice. Riot is attempting to combat toxicity in this manner, though it is not yet clear if the community has benefited.

Your standing will be reset at the beginning of the season as is customary. While Riot decided to make Season 12’s resets more severe, they haven’t announced anything about the ranked resets for 2023. In 2023, we are anticipating not one but two resets with two ranked splits. The news that we would be receiving additional ranked rewards in 2023 came earlier this month.

Who Will Return in Lol Season 13?

The Chemtech drake has returned. It’s no secret that players are wary of the Chemtech drake’s return as one of the changes they’ve noticed. The developers received immediate feedback that this Dragon was far too powerful. Both casual and competitive players felt the drake and its soul buff in particular was too powerful.

The soul grants its possessor a “Sion-like” passive ability among zombies. As a result, players can continue to use their abilities after death, albeit for a shorter period of time. This soul in the right hands could render the game unplayable for the enemy team; however, Riot wasted no time in neutralizing the drake.

There has been a major upgrade and Chemtech Drake is back and better than ever. The updated drake was designed to motivate players to play with strategy and aggression to gain an advantage over their opponents. Never settle for mediocrity aim for the stars!
