After three years on the ABC soap opera General Hospital, Marcus Coloma is leaving. On the daytime show, Nikolas Cassadine was portrayed by the actor. Marcus Coloma will no longer play the part of Nikolas Cassadine. At the end of January, his final episode will air, a spokesman for the program informed Soap Opera Digest.
Coloma’s exit was initially announced by Daytime Confidential, which also noted that the actor decided not to record his final scenes after finding out he had been fired. ABC has been contacted by Deadline for comment; we’ll provide an update as soon as we hear back.
Coloma has appeared in South Beach and Fox’s Point Pleasant as Matt Evans and Father Tomas, respectively. He has appeared in several TV shows, including Major Crimes, Lucifer, One Tree Hill, Make It or Break It on ABC Family, and False Profits.
