RHONJ Divorce

RHONJ Divorce: Luis “Louie” Ruelas proposed to his “high school sweetheart” years before he and Teresa Giudice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey developed a “love bubble.” The RHONJ new groom revealed some surprising information about his past marriage during the Jersey Ladies & Their Men: Part 2 panel at BravoCon 2022 on Saturday, October 15.

Louie began by saying, “I want to clear one thing: Teresa is the love of my life,” before explaining the circumstances of his previous relationship, which had been the topic of much speculation throughout Season 12 of RHONJ. He told the crowd that he and his now-ex-wife had their first date when he was 13 years old, tied the knot when he was 24, had children when he was 27 and 29 years old and obtained a divorce when he was 35 years old.

Because “I woke up when I was about 32, 33, um, dealing with a lot of, like, childhood crap that goes on,” Louie said, “I’m going to take all the blame and fault myself.”

One of his boys now resides with him on a permanent basis, while the other alternates between his and his ex-residence wives. His life changed forever when he met Teresa in 2016 after relocating to New Jersey.

But those weren’t the only private secrets he revealed at BravoCon. Louie’s followers wanted to know more about him, so Teresa added that he is a mix of Dominican, Mexican, and Puerto Rican ancestry. Now it was Louie’s turn to continue telling his tale.

Teresa Giudice’s husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, is a mystery to many

Louie told the gathering that he was born and raised in the Bronx, New York, but that he relocated to the New York suburbs “probably about 13 or 14 years old.” He “loves” his two sisters and his brother in Florida. The husband on The Real Housewives of New Jersey began a business “in the media area” when he was 19 and plans to go public with it in 2020. His career had been fairly fruitful, he said.

He had to resign from the company before the RHONJ Season 12 reunion, which was something he had revealed earlier but which was not discussed during the three-day event in New York City. He said, “Teresa didn’t want me to say this, but they let me go from my company from all the negative stuff that came up in the press because of my exes out there,” when asked about it during the reunion taping. To which I replied, “Yeah, they called me up and said, you know, you have to step down. What a terrible thing.

Despite this, Louie claims he “had no negative feelings towards anyone” because of his job loss. Saying, “I just want to move forward in a peaceful manner,” he explained his motivation.

Being a part of Teresa’s and her new husband’s joyous transition into married life must be a step in the right direction.
