Power Book IV Force Season 2

Starz has renewed Power Book IV Force Season 2. On February 6 the third Power spinoff premiered to record-breaking numbers becoming the most-watched series premiere in Starz history with 3.3 million multiplatform views in the United States alone, leading to the renewal announcement on Wednesday.

Season 2 of Power Book IV: Force will include a new showrunner. Series creator Robert Munic will not be returning for Season 2. Gary Lennon (Power, Hightown) will be in charge instead. For Joseph Sikora, the star of Force and Lennon, the co-showrunner of the original Power’s sixth and final season (airing in 2019–2020), this is something of a homecoming.

Courtney Kemp, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Lionsgate Television’s new series follow Sikora’s Tommy Egan after he leaves New York behind for good.

Power Book IV: Force has been renewed for a second season while its first season is still broadcasting. Nonetheless, Jackson, who has been producing the Power franchise and other projects for Starz, was not pleased and took to social media last week to criticize the network and threaten to leave the overall arrangement. Jackson had previously expressed his displeasure with Starz’s renewal of Hightown but their indecision over Force.
