What happened in Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 Episode 9?
As the episode begins, Mob has a dream about Tsubomi. Mob and Tsubomi are seen in the dream walking hand-in-hand after an impressive demonstration of Mob’s psychic abilities. Tsubomi will be transferring to a new school next month, the teacher told the students when they got back from break.
As a result of this, the mob is inconsolable. After the season of entrance exams is over, he makes up his mind to tell Tsubomi how he feels. Unexpectedly, he faces stiff competition from others who also want to confess to Tsubomi. Mob tells his fellow members of the Body Improvement club about his plan and solicits their feedback at the next club meeting.
The regulars at the club assure him that his muscularity will wow Tsubomi. Mob then seeks counsel from a member of the Telepathy Club to which Takenada quips that Mob would be better off just asking her out on a date and that the Telepathy Club isn’t the best place to go for advice. There is a long line of suitors waiting to tell Tsubomi they love her on the school grounds.
Mob inquires Mezato as to the type of young men Tsubomi prefers and Mezato reveals that Tsubomi is wary of forming close relationships with others. Later, she tells Mob that before he can get close to Tsubomi he needs to figure out why he likes her.
