Allegedly beating his mother, a man in Pike County is now facing criminal charges. It has been reported by Mountain Top Media that According to reports, Joseph Wayne Charles was detained on Sunday for allegedly assaulting his mother on Saturday causing her to sustain injuries to her face and chest.
During his arrest, investigators claim they presented him with a warrant for an alleged incident that occurred in November for which he was already being held on a fourth-degree assault charge.

According to the police, one of the assaults was a criminal of the second degree punishable by at least five years in prison if found guilty.
