Ash says the information Flynne and Aelita took from R.I. is encoded in DNA and that Lev is aware of this fact as well. Flynne is not pleased that Ash has admitted to telling Cherise about it. After years apart, Flynne and Conner finally meet up in real (and utterly destroyed) London. Flynne suggests a completely out-there plan: she wants to start a new company. We’re starting over. However, she requires his and Lowbeer’s assistance. Since she understands how to create a new stub, she asks Lowbeer if she has the authority to do so, despite the fact that doing so would be politically unwise.

Flynne claims that Cherise will believe she won because of the assistance of Lowbeer. In addition, they will have all the information Aelita took, which will prevent the Jackpot from destroying Flynne’s world. She prefers that Burton not be involved. Then she has Lowbeer take her to a stub gateway on R.I.

She easily dispatches the security man and gains entry. A group of Peripherals can be seen standing guard when a stopwatch is picked up. A battle breaks out, and she ends it by kicking everyones behind. When she sets the watch down again, a digital tree with branches representing years appears.

Cherise, using a Peripheral to communicate, assures us that she will track down Flynne. I want to be the hunter now,” Flynne says to her. “I am aware of your precise location. Not to mention, I’ve completely left you in the dark as to my whereabouts. Not without knowing where you are.” After breaking the watch, the lights on the tree go out. Also, Cherise is really nervous.
