A source tells that Kim Kardashian is “happy” that she and Kanye West have settled on the terms of their divorce. According to court documents acquired, the exes finalized the terms of their breakup on Tuesday. According to reports, the 42-year-old reality TV star “didn’t want the divorce to go to trial.”

The authors also state, “They’ve settled their differences on a number of issues where [Kim and Kanye] had previously disagreed. Most of Kanye’s previous disagreements turned into acceptances.”

According to the insider, Kardashian believes she and the 45-year-old rapper can co-parent amicably. West must pay $200,000 in child support to Kardashian every month as part of their divorce agreement. And he’ll have to pay half the bills for the kids’ health care, schooling, and protection.

Kardashian and West have both decided to forego spousal support. The couple also committed to using mediation to resolve any future child-related conflicts. In the event of a dispute, however, if one side does not take part, the other may act as a judge.

The prenuptial agreement will govern the division of the couple’s assets, including their property. They began dating in 2012 and tied the knot in May 2014. During the height of West’s public outbursts in 2020, his marriage was in trouble due to his contentious run for president of the United States and his subsequent disclosure of private family and marital information on the campaign trail and on Twitter.

In a rare public statement, Kardashian said that he has bipolar disorder and asked for followers’ “compassion,” calling their situation “complex and unpleasant.”

“Although Kim and Kanye share custody [of the kids], Kim is the primary caregiver,” the source says. “They agreed that Kanye needs to speak to Kim in private about any complaints and not go public with them. She wants the kids to be protected. Kim hopes the co-parenting will be a bit easier from now on.”

North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm are four of West and Kardashian’s six children.

West has agreed to pay Kardashian $200,000 in child support each month as part of their divorce deal. He will pay 50 percent of the cost of the kids’ health care, schooling, and protection.

Kris Jenner and Kanye West have mutually agreed to forego spousal support. After almost seven years of marriage, Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February 2021. A few months later, in December, she filed paperwork to become legally single. She further requested that her maiden name be restored and that her marital status be treated independently from any matters pertaining to child custody or property.
