What do you think will there be a Season 2 of Wednesday? Read all details below: The question now is whether or not Jenna Ortega who has taken on the role of Wednesday Addams will be back for a second year at Nevermore Academy. The Addams Family, America’s favourite gothic family, is back on TV on Wednesday, a new adaption of the show co-created by Tim Burton and streaming on Netflix.
Wednesday follows the macabre teen as she enrols in the Nevermore Academy for the Supernatural, played by You and Scream actor Jenna Ortega.
While trying to help her parents and make new friends, Wednesday’s life is complicated when an unknown power goes on a horrible killing rampage in town. Ortega says she felt “very weird” acting opposite Christina Ricci, who plays Marilyn Thornhill on the sitcom and was the original Addams Family star.
“In my opinion, she excels as a character actress. In my mind, she’s Wednesday, so seeing her in person for the first time was terrifying. But she is so great and talented that she made it simple, “I was telling Variety,” she reportedly said. “Something about it just didn’t sit right with me. I considered handing it over to her.”

Rumours about the Wednesday Season 2 Plot: What Will Happen in this Season?
Given the secrecy surrounding Wednesday’s overarching plot, it’s difficult to speculate on the potential themes that a second season might explore, especially given the supernatural elements at play; however, with the show introducing the Nevermore Academy, a roster of brand new characters, and a killer on the loose, there’s a lot to unpack.
It’s possible that season 2 may delve even deeper into the Addams universe, from Wednesday’s bizarre new school to the dynamics of Tim Burton’s version of the family, but Ortega has also stated that the show wraps up enough loose ends after the first season.
