Midway through November 2022 Netflix users in all territories will be able to watch the K-drama The Good Detective Season 2, which has just finished airing on JTBC in South Korea.
As of the first of November 2020, all sixteen episodes of the crime drama series have been uploaded on Netflix. The show is not technically a Netflix Original, although it is available exclusively on the streaming service in most territories.

The series stars Son Hyun-joo (The Chaser), Seung-jo Jang (Snowdrop), Eliya Lee (The Return of Hwang Geum-Bok), Seung-Hyeon Ji (The Con Artists), and Oh Jung-se (The Con Artists) (The Call).
In contrast to the majority of Korean shows, which only air once, a second season of The Good Detective has been ordered.

Early in 2021, it was announced that the Korean series would return for a second season, which would be shot later that year. Approximately 2 years after the conclusion of season 1, it premiered on July 30, 2020 and ran through September 18, 2022.
The majority of its original viewers returned for the second season when it aired on JTBC.
Season 2 is next to arrive on Netflix.

Synopsis
Set in Incheon, South Korea, the drama covers stories of individuals who try to hide harsh truths and those who expose the truths. After 18 years in the field, Kang Do-chang (Son Hyun-Joo) is a seasoned detective. He has always called Incheon home. Instead of relying on scientific methods or logic, he uses his own personal network and investigative skills to solve situations.
One of the best detectives in the country is Oh Ji-hyuk (Jang Seung-jo). He’s been doing this for 9 years. In contrast to Kang Do-chang, he uses evidence and insight into the criminal’s mind to solve crimes. Childhood trauma has left him unable to express his emotions. He is wealthy thanks to his late uncle, who left him with a substantial inheritance.
Lee Elijah’s character, Jin Seo-Kyung, is a newspaper reporter. She’s been in the industry for five years, and she loves what she does.

South Korean actor Son Hyun-joo. Starring in shows and movies like “First Love,” “To Be With You,” “My Rosy Life,” “Tazza,” and “My Too Perfect Sons” since 1991.
Jang Seung-jo as Oh Ji-hyuk
South Korean actor Jang Hyun Deok, aka Jang Seung Jo, is best known for his roles in the films Money Flower, Familiar Wife, and Encounter. Jang has starred in a number of other dramas, including Chocolate, The Good Detective, and Snowdrop, in recent years.
Lee Elijah as Jin Seo-kyung
South Korean starlet Lee Elijah. She made her acting debut in the tvN drama Basketball in 2013. She had spent the prior few years in supporting roles, but with JTBC’s The Good Detective, she finally got the lead role she had been hoping for.
Kim Hyo-jin as Cheon Na-na
The South Korean actress and model Kim Hyo-jin. She got her start as a model for teen publications, and in 1999 she made her big-screen debut. To most people, she will always be the youngest of the three sisters in the sex comedy Everybody Has Secrets.
