But post that, Neil Gaiman the original writer of comics has updated the good news about The Sandman Season 2.
Netflix and Warner Bros will be working with Allan Heinberg, David Goyer and Neil Gaiman to bring the astonishing stories of the world of dreams. He did share a long statement and here is a part of what has been updated.

And now it’s time to get back to work. There’s a family meal ahead, after all. And Lucifer is waiting for Morpheus to return to Hell…”.
Tom Sturridge will be reprising his titular role of God of Dream and other actors Kyo Ra, Vivienne Acheamponhg, Boyd Holbrook, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Gwendoline Christie, Jenna Coleman as well as Mason Alexander will be coming back. So, new chapters are to be formed and it will be continuing the storyline to take you through the life of Dream.

Season 1 of “The Sandman” debuted on August 5th, 2022 and it was one of the most-awaited shows of 2022. After its release, it was sitting in Netflix’s global Top 10 list for seven weeks straight. The story is about Morpheus aka Dream who gets trapped in the human world during one of the occult rituals in 1916. After staying captive for over 106 years, Dream finally manages to escape and here begins his journey to fix the order of his realm that totally disrupted life on earth as well.
However, the main reason to consider cancellation or renewal in the first place was that the show involved a high budget. The creators had to spend a lot to execute a perfect episode of the series. Thus, the same can be expected from The Sandman Season 2 and that will increase the hype amongst the audiences.
Variety told in its review, “The show works hard to set itself apart from those Netflix attempts at reanimating beloved properties that instead flattened them out. Most notable… is that the season metes out its material with an economical approach and smart narrative structure.”
