Greetings, basketball fans! The New York Knicks have returned. There will also be the inevitable sadness associated with Knicks games. Our team battled hard in the second half to overcome a 19-point deficit and win the game on the road against a much stronger opponent.
Cam Reddish’s stunning three-pointer sent the game into overtime. There was a chance for Ja Morant to win it in regulation, but Jalen Brunson slid in his path and drew the foul.
The Knicks’ early foul trouble in overtime was caused by Julius Randle who had been phenomenal. Tom Thibodeau the Timberwolves’ head coach, opted to play a smaller lineup by switching Reddish to the 4 and reintroducing Evan Fournier.

Unfortunately, Fournier missed the game-winning three because he dozed off. Also, he failed to make the game-tying three-pointer right before time expired.

Reddish made his doubters, including myself, look silly with a tantalizing 22 points on 9-15 shooting, 5 rebounds and 3 blocks, leading to the Knicks’ best performance of the game while he was involved in the offense. When Quentin Grimes returns the Knicks will have a difficult decision to make.
Well, anything. They gave it their all on stage. They could win if they made some of their shots (9-37 from behind the arc). Okay, so that happens in basketball. Soon to be summarised.
