Bieber, who married Justin in 2018, discussed the idea that she “stole” Justin from Gomez and the online hate she’s experienced from fans during an appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast on September 28.
Bieber told host Alex Cooper that she and Gomez had been in touch since Justin’s wedding, and that she held no animosity against the actress and singer.

Going by a TikTok live video she posted shortly after Bieber’s presence, Gomez appeared to condemn the hateful comments made about Bieber.
To paraphrase what Gomez stated, “some of the things that I don’t even need to be aware of are just terrible and disgusting, and it’s not fair, and no one ever should be spoken to in the manner that I’ve witnessed,” before bringing up her brand of beauty products focused on spreading positivity, Rare Beauty. To sum up, “It’s very ironic that I would release something that is all about good words, ’cause that’s precisely what I want.”
She continued: “I can’t thank you enough if you’re a Rare supporter, but please also know that you’re a symbol of all that the term stands for. What I mean is this: what we say has real and lasting consequences.”
