Interview with the Vampire Season 2

There will be an Interview with the Vampire Season 2 on AMC. This renewal precedes the Oct. 2 start of the new season. The European continent will serve as the backdrop for the second season’s eight episodes.

Inspired by Anne Rice’s novel, the series stars Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe du Lac, Sam Reid as Lestat de Lioncourt, Bailey Bass as Claudia, and Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy. Rolin Jones is the showrunner and executive producer, having adapted the novel for the small screen. Mark Johnson has an overall agreement with AMC Studios in which he not only executive produces but also oversees the development of the Anne Rice television universe.

‘The scope and breadth of this show, and what Mark and Rolin have created, is really phenomenal,’ said Dan McDermott, president of original programming for AMC Networks and AMC Studios. We are really pleased with the way they captured the ambiance of Anne Rice’s Interview.

Everything about the production was meticulously planned and executed, down to the last set piece, production design element, wardrobe, and more. Each and every member of this excellent cast gives a performance that brings us closer to these people and their stories.
