Baseball games are available on Apple TV Plus whether you like them or not. This season, Apple has begun live-streaming Friday night games, and tonight, two potentially historic games can be viewed for free on Apple’s site.
At 7:05 p.m. ET, the New York Yankees will take on the Boston Red Sox (4:05 p.m. PT). The Yankees are in the playoffs already, and the Red Sox are on the verge of elimination, so everyone is watching Yankees slugger Aaron Judge in baseball’s most famous rivalry.
This season, Judge has already blasted 60 home runs, one short of the American League record set by Yankee legend Roger Maris in 1961. On Thursday night, the star outfielder for the Yankees came inches away from hitting the game-tying home run.
OH. MY. GOODNESS.
Judge was that close…

Another historic home run may be scored during Apple TV Plus’s second game of the evening. Tonight at 10:10 p.m. ET, the St. Louis Cardinals will play the Los Angeles Dodgers in Los Angeles, California (7:10 p.m. PT).
With 104 wins, the Dodgers have clinched the NL West division, while the Cardinals are within striking distance of a playoff spot with 88 victories. Like in the Yankees game, the focus will be on one player: Cardinals great (and former Dodger) Albert Pujols and his pursuit of 700 home runs. To date, he has 698 home runs in his professional career.
Only subscribers to Apple’s streaming service, Apple TV Plus, can view either game. Even in major markets like New York and Los Angeles, you won’t be able to catch them on TV. What you need to know to watch these games and the rest of Apple TV Plus’ baseball schedule is below.
