The official name of the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro rugged tablet is now out. A report says that Samsung is getting ready to launch the tablet later this month. The tablet has been in the news for a while. According to the company, the rugged tablet has military-grade durability, advanced features for getting work done and a security platform from Samsung called Knox. It has a 10.1-inch screen, an unknown octa-core processor, support for the S Pen, an IP68 rating for resistance to dust and water, and a fingerprint sensor for biometric security.

Samsung has said that the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro will be available in some parts of Europe by the end of this month. In the second half of 2022, the tablet will be sold in Asia, Latin America, North America, and the Middle East.

The Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro with two SIM card slots is only available in North America. It runs Android 12.0 with a One UI mobile experience. It has a 10.1-inch WUXGA (1,920×1,200 pixels) TFT LCD and is powered by an unnamed SoC. It could be a Snapdragon 778G SoC, according to a report. Up to 6GB of RAM is included with the tablet.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro has a 13-megapixel camera on the back with an f/1.9 lens for taking photos and videos. The front of the phone has an 8-megapixel sensor and an f/2.0 lens.
The Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro has up to 128GB and can be expanded with a microSD card to 1TB. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port are all ways to connect. Some sensors are accelerometers, geomagnetic, gyros, light, hall, and proximity sensors. The home button on the tablet has a fingerprint sensor built-in and can also recognize your face.
The tablet has a 7600mAh battery that can be taken out and quickly replaced when it runs out. The Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro features include an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, MIL-STD-810H standard durability, 1.2m anti-shock with Inbox Protective Cover and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The tablet is 242.9 mm by 170.2 mm by 10.2 mm and weighs 674 g.
