But an alleged live video of the Apple iPhone 14 Pro has been found. It shows a new option allowing iPhone 14 Pro users to switch between a pill-shaped hole-punch cutout with two separate holes and a pill-shaped hole-punch cutout with one spot. It was recently rumored that Apple would turn off the pixels on display between the two cutouts to make it look like a single notch.
A supposed video of the iPhone 14 Pro is being shared on the Chinese social media site Weibo. It shows the rumored pill-shaped notch in use. The rumored video shows that the iPhone 14 Pro will have an option that lets users choose between a unified pill notch and a pill-shaped hole-punch cutout.
A recent report suggested that Apple might turn off the pixels between the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max cutouts. This feature might be possible because the Pro models use OLED screens.
Apple reportedly plans to use the single pill-shaped cutout in the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, which looks like a unibrow, to show privacy indicators. These lights and sounds are supposed to let users know when the camera and microphone are being used. Apple may have changed the design of the Camera app by moving some of the controls to either side of the unified pill shape.
