The reality TV series, ‘The Curse of Oak Island’ revolves around the Lagina brothers Rick and Marty as they try to take dig into the treasures and mystery of Oak Island, which stays close to Nova Scotia’s shore.
Concealed in secret, the island has tales of historical artifacts, precious metals and riches dug deep in its geographical territory. The Laginas unravel the mystery around Oak Island and speak about the past and present findings and investigations with their team of treasure hunters and researchers.
The series first aired on January 5, 2014 and continued to run for nine seasons and has a total of 165 episodes as of August 2022. The latest season aired from November 2, 2021 to May 3, 2022 with 25 episodes.

Is The Curse of Oak Island Renewed for Season 10?
It has been nearly four months since the premiere of the ninth season and there are no updates regarding a new season of the series. The series renewal or cancellation, nothing has been hinted by the show creators so it is yet to be confirmed. We may expect a new season of the series considering its fanbase.

What Can We Expect from The Curse of Oak Island Season 10?
First let’s take a look at season 9 where we saw a cemented area on the island with gold traces and other valuable metals that the Lagina brothers found. They anticipated that one of the rarest metals of the world called Osmium might be found in the depths of the swamp of Oak Island and ironically, that turned out to be true as they discovered gold in the Money Pit area along with the proof of further artifacts.
However, they encountered many hindrances for the swamp area like roadblocks, closedowns and government permits. Finally, the team got rid of several difficulties and discovered more gold along with proof of Spanish origin. When they got closer to unraveling the 226 years old mystery of the island, they found that Zena Halpern’s map was not correct.
They also discovered the remains of a huge sailing vessel as a final jackpot, eventually landing them right. At the end of the season, the team started their long-anticipated exploration of the swamp.
In the expected new season, we can expect it to start from where the last season left off and explore the deeper truth behind the origin and presence of Knights Templar treasure. It will also prove if their mission is successful or failed. In addition, the possibility of more excavation projects may also be uncovered.
