George Soros: Early Life
Erzsebet and Tivadar, a lawyer, give birth to their child George in 1930 in Budapest. Soros and his family survived for a long time as they were Jewish and due to the second world war, Soros moved to many states and in 1947, they settled in England.

In 2008 Soros donated $ 400,000 to Drug Policy Reform for improvement in youth and the prohibition of drugs. Then he donates $ 1.4 million to California to expand drug rehabilitation. He is one of the major donors to drug policy reforms.
