A guy born in 1969 in Texas named Matthew is the youngest son of his parents. His mother is Mary Kathleen and his father, James Donald “Jim” McConaughey was a businessman. Matthew’s parents divorced two times and married thrice. They had three sons, Michael and Patrick, and Patrick was adopted.
His brother Michael is also an actor and worked in the CBNC documentary film West Texas Investors Club and also appeared in the A&E reality show Rooster & Butch, that’s why his nickname is “Rooster”.

I got to feeling like, for a few years, I was doing something that I liked to do with romantic and action comedies. But believe me, I noticed there were other things that were not coming in. And if they were coming in, it was in an independent form with a much smaller paycheck, and nobody really wanting to get behind them … But I knew I could say no to the things I’d been doing. In saying no to those things, I knew work was going to dry up for awhile … Year and a half, still nothing. At two years, all of a sudden, in my opinion, I became a new good idea for some good directors.
In 2013 he did a super hit award-winning film, Dallas Buyers Club which was based on an AIDS-infected guy, Mathew won many awards after this premiered. In 2014, he cast True Detective a crime drama that won many awards. His film The Dark Tower got negative reactions.
