Around 3 lacs workers with low income over Massachusetts should expect to get stimulus check payments of $500 from the Baker administration coming week.
However, it looks like 30,000 lesser natives of Massachusetts will get the payments as compared to initially outlined earlier this month, as the Baker administration anticipated nearly 330,000 Massachusetts residents would qualify for this stimulus check payments. With regard to the discrepancy, an administration official didn’t explain the reason behind this immediately.
The Massachusetts Executive for Administration and Finance made the announcement via Twitter that beginning on Monday, June 6, stimulus checks will be mailed automatically to the qualified Bay Staters.
Previously, the Baker administration had stated that the second round of the COVID-19 Essential Employee Premium Pay program would begin in June, however, it didn’t reveal an exact timeline before Wednesday afternoon.
