Black Clover Season 5 Expected Storyline
Though the plot for the fifth season has not been known yet, we can take dig into the anime’s plot to get an overview of it. Black Clover revolves around Asta who is a young orphan who left to be brought up in an orphanage with his fellow orphan, Yuno.
When everyone is born with the skill to use mana in the form of magical power, Asta, who has no magic, pays attention to physical abilities. Rather, Yuno was born as a prodigy with extreme magical power and the skill to control wind magic.
Inspired by a desire to be the next Wizard King, an authority figure second to the king of Clover Kingdom, both of them grew a friendly rivalry. Yuno gets a legendary four-leaf grimoire kept by the kingdom’s first Wizard King.
The four-leaf grimoire is a rare grimoire that is just handed to the greatest mages. Asta, in spite of his lack of magic, gathered a peculiar five-leaf grimoire that has strange elf swords and a bodiless member of the Devil race who uses rare anti-magic. Later, he and Yuno each teamed up with a Magic Knight squad as the first step to achieving their goals.
Asta becomes a member of the Black Bulls under Yami Sukehiro with Noelle Silva whereas Yuno joins the Golden Dawn.
