Early Life
George was born on 6 May 1961 in Lexington, Kentucky. He is the child of Nick Clooney, a former TV host, and anchorman, and Nina Bruce, a beauty queen, and city councilwoman. Clooney went to Blessed Sacrament School in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, and later the family relocated to Mason, Ohio.
The Clooney family got back to Kentucky and, when he was in his seventh grade, he suffered from Bell’s Palsy which is a condition in which the face is partial paralyzes. The condition disappeared after a year, but he has explained having tough times in school since he was bullied because of it.
