The anime series Gakuen Babysitters was released in 2018 and is a popular school, comedy, and slice of life genre. Hari Tokeino wrote the comic that inspired the series.
Brain’s Base, the studio behind the In/Spectre anime series, developed this delightful show. Shsei Morishita, who is also a member of the In/Specter storyboard team, is the anime director.
From January 7 through March 25, 2018, Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and BS11 broadcast the anime, which was also available on Crunchyroll.
There has only been one season of the anime in which cute infants make us feel better about ourselves. But Gakuen Babysitters has a devoted following, so will the show return for a second season?
Gakuen Babysitters Season 2 Plot
After his parents and siblings perish in an aircraft catastrophe, high school student Ryuuichi is left to care for his younger brother Kotarou, who has just learned to walk.
Having lost her son and daughter-in-law in the same aircraft disaster, the director of Morinomiya Academy has adopted them. There is just one restriction attached: Ryuuichi must work as a babysitter in the academy’s kindergarten during her free time.
Gakuen Babysitters explains the trauma that a high school-aged youngster may suffer when left alone for long periods. On the other hand, he never runs across a mean kid from school or an adult with a bad conscience.
Also, the performance in which we see a newborn abandoned by his parents introduces him to a variety of regular, responsible adults. Someone over the age of twenty may consider this as a destructive element.
Still, the anime’s objective is to provide a pleasant narrative that occasionally floods your eyes. As a children’s show, I can’t anticipate a too complex or depressing tale for my audience.
Gakuen Babysitters Season 2 Release Date
The anime has yet to be renewed for a second season as of November 28, 2021, by the Brain’s Base animation studio or any associated companies.
A new season of anime might take years to be confirmed. This is something we’ve seen many times before. We’ll guess about the sequel because there hasn’t been an official announcement yet.
The quality of the original material, the show’s audience appeal, and the show’s financial viability all play a role in whether or not a new season of an anime will be produced.
