Legal Controversies
The Louisiana State University Police Department arrested Hardy on April 29, 2022, and sent them to the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison after accusations that he tapped his former girlfriend’s Louisiana State University dorm room with an electronic recording device.
As per his arrest warrant, the device, which was retrieved by his former girlfriend and her roommate, was installed in the dorm room’s futon and his former girlfriend became doubtful when he told her details regarding her private life that she hadn’t shared with him yet.
Furthermore, it was also said that Hardy, who was not an LSU student, at a point admitted to his ex-girlfriend that he did even bug her room, however, he lied to her that he dropped the device into a pond. But later, it came to light that Laine was cooperating with investigators after his arrest.
