Can Close Enough season 4 get renewed following today’s season 3 launch on HBO Max? Or are we at a fork in the road?
We understand that it’s nearly hard to keep track of what’s renewed and what’s canceled in general, much more so when you consider that there are around a trillion shows on the air at any given moment. Additionally, several renewal announcements ring through the songs.
Consider this one. Close Enough has not only been renewed for a fourth season but has been for quite some time. It was given the green light for a third and fourth season even before the second season began, which indicates a lot of things.
To begin, it demonstrates how much trust HBO Max had in the notion; beyond that, it demonstrates that they were truly devoted to long-term programming from the outset. This is particularly more critical in the case of animation, as it might take several months to complete a season well in advance.
With Season 4 now confirmed, we know that we’d love to see it premiere in late 2022 or early 2023. The streaming service is in the driver’s seat on this one, but we believe they’ll find a way for it to stand on its own two feet.
So how about a fifth season? We assume that if HBO Max and the executives continue to adore this program as much as they do now, we will hear about it in the coming months. Why not offer the creative team an advantage in predicting the future?
