Amazon Studios has confirmed the renewal of Gloria Calderón Kellett’s romantic comedy series “With Love” for a second season on Amazon Prime Video.
The six-episode first season of the series, which premiered in December 2021, follows the Diaz siblings, Lily (Emeraude Toubia) and Jorge Jr. (Mark Indelicato), as they search for love and meaning.
The two come into contact with seemingly unconnected inhabitants of Portland, Oregon, during some of the year’s most frantic days – the holidays, including Christmas Eve/Nochebuena, New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, the Fourth of July, and Dia de Los Muertos.
Season 2 will have six episodes set against various life-changing events or festivities.
Lily fell in and out of love with Nick (Desmond Chiam) and Santiago (Rome Flynn) during Season 1, while Jorge had many obstacles with his boyfriend Henry (Vincent Rodriguez III).
Simultaneously, cracks appear in Lily and Jorge’s parents’ seemingly perfect marriage, Beatriz (Constance Marie) and Jorge Sr. (Benito Martinez), and their trans and nonbinary cousin Sol (Isis King) navigates a new relationship with Miles (Todd Grinnell). The latter is straight and cisgender with a nonbinary child (Birdie Silverstein).
