What Is the Net Worth of Charlie Puth?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Puth has an estimated net worth of $25 million.

Early Life

Charles Otto Puth Jr. was born in Rumson, New Jersey, on December 2, 1991. He is the son of Debra and Charles Otto Puth Sr. His mother is a music teacher and she also wrote commercials for HBO whereas his father is a builder and real estate agent. Puth has 2 siblings who are younger than him: twins Stephen and Mikaela.

When he was just two years old, his right eyebrow was scarred forever in an almost deadly dog-bite incident.

When he was 4, his mother first started teaching him classical music and also the piano. At the age of 10, Puth began taking jazz lessons and when he was 12, he took part in a summer youth jazz ensemble at Count Basie Theatre’s Cool School in Red Bank, New Jersey.

Later, The Count Basie Theatre hired him to play in a Charlie Brown production. When he was in sixth grade, he headed door to door to sell a Christmas album titled Have a Very Charlie Christmas which was both recorded and produced by him and that album generated a sale of $600.

Puth went to the Holy Cross School, Rumson, and Forrestdale Middle School. In 2010, he graduated from the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School.

He went to Manhattan School of Music Pre-College during his seventh grade to senior years with a jazz piano as major and classical studies as a minor. In 2013 he completed his graduation from the Berklee College of Music, and there he majored in music production and engineering.

Personal Life

Puth was bullied during his school days. In a statement, he has stated, “They would team up against me so bad and they would kick me in a place that wouldn’t feel fantastic and I would need to throw up and they would then say I was pretending to throw up.”

On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Puth said he went through a nervous breakdown by “just being overworked—and I’m in my head a lot and that, in combination with jetlag and, you know, the self-realization that I am getting more famous and my privacy goes out the window pretty much every day—it’s just not what I’m used to, and I don’t think I’m ever going to be used to it, and my therapy is to just put a melody to it and sing it.”

Since 2017, Puth has partnered with clothing brand Hollister Co.

Puth has also said that Justin Bieber’s “viral leap into superstardom as a result of YouTube” encouraged him to follow in his footsteps.
