The enormously popular Tekken video game brand will soon make its anime debut on Netflix, and the streaming site has teased fans with its first trailer! While the Tekken brand is one of the most well-known fighting game series currently available, the franchise has had considerable difficulty spreading to new ventures.
The franchise previously attempted a live-action version, but it failed miserably. Now, the series is making a splash in a whole new media.
Netflix has announced that Tekken will make its full anime series debut with Tekken: Bloodline. This series will adopt a version of the gaming franchise’s original plot by concentrating on Jin Kazama’s development to skill and power under the ruthless tutelage of his grandpa, Heihachi Mishima.
A preview of many of the characters (both new and returning) will appear in the future series, and you can check out the Tekken: Bloodline teaser video.
Tekken: Bloodline is scheduled for release later this year. As of this writing, Netflix has not released a specific release date or the number of episodes planned, nor has it identified any production crew.
However, fans have a sense of what to expect from the tale according to Netflix’s first synopsis, which reads as follows:
“‘All that matters is power.’ Jin Kazama had early instruction from his mother in the family self-defense disciplines known as Kazama-Style Traditional Martial Arts.
