Devils Line Season 2 Possible Release Date Status & Renewal Status in 2022!

Whether in the shape of films, television episodes, novels, or anything else, fantasy fictional stories have constantly remained popular. Even if the plot involves homicidal vampires, people need an escape, like in “Devils’ Line.”

The anime “Devils’ Line” is based on manga of the same name. The series is produced by Platinum Vision, created in 2016, and draws analogies to previous supernatural anime such as “Shiki” and “Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign.”

Fixed in a world where humans and vampires coexist — vampires are referred to as “devils” — “Devils’ Line” follows a young college student called Tsukasa Taira as she comes face to face with a vampire one night and nearly dies before being rescued by a detective named Yuuki Anzai.

As Tsukasa discovers, Anzai is half-vampire, a fact he conceals from the public, particularly as a task team tasked with combating devil-related crime.

After the incident, when he falls in love with Tsukasa, she threatens to undermine his meticulous control and personal vow never to consume human blood.

“Devils’ Line’s” first season premiered in 2018 and consists of 12 episodes. While the series was initially successful, it got a considerably larger audience with the publication of “Devils’ Line” on Hulu and other foreign networks. Fans are anxious to learn what happened to Anzai and Tsukasa three years later.

This is all we currently know about “Devils’ Line” Season 2.

Devils Line Season 2

Devils Line Season 2 Release Date

While anime has grown in popularity, there is no clear schedule for when your favorite program will return for a new season. It may be a year or three before there is any word about a second season, and the same is true for “Devils’ Line.”

Although Season 1 of the vampire anime was released in 2018, the production company has not confirmed if the program has been renewed or canceled, leaving the door open for them to revisit the tale in the future.

A few months after the conclusion of “Devils’ Line” Season 1, the studio released a special OVA episode, but there has been no more news.

Platinum Vision, a very new animation company, has released just five series to far, the most recent being “Dr. Ramune: Mysterious Disease Specialist” in early 2021.

The company has not revealed its next project. However, it is plausible that it will be Season 2 of “Devils’ Line” or a film sequel, since Platinum Vision followed up their previous series, “Servamp,” with a feature picture two years later.

Given that Season 1 of “Devils’ Line” was launched over three years ago, it’s about time for the animation company to announce a second season, assuming one is in the works. If “Devils’ Line” Season 2 is approved shortly, the earliest viewers would likely see new episodes in mid-2022.

Devils Line Season 2 Characters

Season 2 of “Devils’ Line” would naturally follow the narrative of Tsukasa and Anzai. Tsukasa is a college student residing in Tokyo, a city where vampires, sometimes known as devils, prey on people, necessitating establishing a devil-specific police task force.

Tsukasa is completely human; she is an innocent, youthful, and kind-hearted lady who strives to be accepting of everyone, human or not. She rapidly develops feelings for Anzai when he saves her from a vampire assault, and the narrative centers on their growing love as he battles his vampire nature.

Anzai is a half-vampire, half-human hybrid who works for Division 5, a special police team tasked with locating and apprehending vampires suspected of committing different crimes.

Anzai has more control over his vampire desires than full-blooded vampires do, but his intimate connection with Tsukasa puts his promise never to sip human blood to the test.

Anzai quickly falls in love with the young lady, eager to protect her from the vampire world and himself since he doubts his ability to maintain control.

The anime’s second season would also introduce several significant supporting characters, including Johannes Kleeman, Hans Lee, another devil-human hybrid, and Juliana “Jill” Lloyd, a demon police officer.

What Can We Expect From Devils’ Line Season 2?

Fortunately for lovers of “Devils’ Line,” the anime adaptation has plenty more manga content to explore. Season 2 would pick up immediately after Tsukasa and Anzai’s split, as the two strive to remain away from one another for their safety.

Regrettably, they are brought together once more by love and circumstance. Anzai is no longer a detective, making him a prime target for anti-vampire humans and vampires he encountered while working who now seek vengeance.

As a hybrid, both humans and vampires question Anzai’s devotion, which naturally produces a slew of adversaries for him.

Additionally, future episodes would go deeper into Anzai’s desire to learn how and why he changes and how to maintain control around Tsukasa.

He will unearth new facts about other hybrids and weird situations, which will make him feel less alone. While Tsukasa and Anzai attempt to keep their distance for their good, the two fall deeper in love and are soon back where they started.
